The Worx Training Center’s mission is to enable individual teachers and schools throughout North Carolina to share in and to enjoy the performing arts, specifically the art of improvisation.   The training center is funded by class instruction fees, grants from public and private organizations, and a major contribution from ComedyWorx.

The Worx Training Center accomplishes it's mission in two ways:

1. providing grants to individual teachers to cover registration fees
2. providing free improvisation training and entertainment programs in the public schools.

Grants to Attend a Class or Workshop

If you are a public school teacher you can apply for a grant to cover tuition for any of the Longform or Shortform Improvisation classes. Just send us an eMail requesting a TUITION grant.

Request for an Improv Program Grant for a School

If you are a public school teacher, librarian, or administrator you can apply for a grant to bring a training center program to your school. Just send us an eMail requesting a PROGRAM grant.
